I figured if I’ll be here for awhile I’ll an area to display what the city has to offer
The Grand Canyon
Starting at Lee’s Ferry we boarded the rafts with Grand Canyon Whitewater Co. and followed the Colorado River for 88 miles. The highlight of the trip was the LCR (Little Colorado River), it’s bright blue waters were twenty degrees warmer than it’s much larger relative and we spent the day wading in the water and enjoying this incredible place!
On the fourth day we followed the Bright Angel Trail ten miles up to the rim of the canyon.
The gang was all together, camped out at Stuart Lake the night before thanks to a permit won via lottery. We hung our hammocks, got our gear organized for the morning and kicked back to enjoy the view of Mount Stuart. Started hiking at 5am and about two hours later we made it to Colchuck Lake. A perfect view of Aasgard Pass across Colchuck Lake accompanied us as we relaxed and made breakfast (first photo).
